Hi
I'm trying to get this deployed and activated however we are using Access as our reference database and are experiencing some issues. Is there any way we can get the Access database to reference the User Name as oppose to the Machine Name? As each time the sign.exe runs it looks for machine name, yet our server logins are set to reference the machine user. I have created a new login to the server with my machine name as the User Name but I still get the same error message.
Any help much appreciated

Hi Jepser
Thanks for getting back to me, I have actually fixed this issue but a new one has presented itself. I have got emailsignature working correctly from my PC however when I went to deploy to my other users I got the following message when the sign.exe was run
"No settings database can be located. Please write the connection string as a command parameter when running sign.exe: \\location\sign.exe [connection string]."
followed by: "Object variable or With block variable not set"
This does not occur on my PC and all my users have access to the same shared path as I do. Interestingly when I was solving another connection issue yesterday morning with regard to a UNC path, the sign.exe ran correctly and this error message did not appear.
Any Ideas?
Regards
Steve |

Hi Jesper
Problem solved I had to amend the batch file in order for it to run correctly, emailsignature is now being successfully deployed.
Many Thanks
