Hi,
Cockpit is showing that 86% of the users are of users are in a failed state, for these users the error "4000: License key is invalid" is reported. Can anyone tell me what this message means and how to fix it?
We also have a user which is using a new machine, however I am unable to get his signature applied, I am assuming that this is linked to the above error message?
Screen shot of the status monitor as below.
Thanks

Cannot see you image ... but please check that your number of users is not exceeded and that you have entered the correct PIN code.
Cockpit -> Application settings.
Please post your Status Monitor log for further assistance please.
If you upgraded from version 2, you need another license key. |

Hi Jesper, thanks for your reply.
The number of users isn't currently exceeded, however a number of days ago this was and a number of user acounts which don't need a signature were removed from the SQL db. Currently there are 153 of 160 users used.
Regards,
Tom Fisk

1) Please confirm that you can enter the license key and security code without errors in Cockpit?
After reentering the license key, please post the Status Monitor log for a user logging on after the time of this post (need to know it's a new entry).
Posting the log, you right click on user in Status Monitor.
Using latest version 4.9.2, you can delete users within the Cockpit Status Monitor |

I have re-entered the license key and security code again, and this has gone in ok, it may be worth noting that we have recently received a new code from Dave Culley, this was due to the campain module not working.
Regards,
Tom

Noticed this in your log ...
| Code: | | - sign.exe version 4.7.5 has been run for this user. |
You cannot have Cockpit.exe version 4.9.0 and Sign.exe version 4.7.5.
Always use same version ... You properly forgot to copy Sign.exe to your NETLOGON share when upgrading.
Please enter the download section of this forum and get Cockpit.exe and Sign.exe version 4.9.2.
Then login again and see if the license error is gone ... |
