Hi
Having a small technical problem here relating to the font for the campaign. The campaign has been created using Arial font and shows as Arial when applied to Outlook 2003 clients, but when opened with Outlook 2007 the module is using Times new roman. I have checked all the Outlook settings and made sure that Arial is the chosen font for replies and forwards as well as new mail?
In Outlook 2007 the font for new mail etc is indeed Arial as is the rest of the deployed signature. It just seems to affect the campaign module only??
Any ideas as to why?
Thanks in advance |

Hi Jesper,
Yes the clients are using vista Ultimate, some of which are the 64bit version which I have also. I have a virtual pc running XP and the scampaign looks fine, so it may be the Vista causing problems.
In the meantime here is my campaign HTML

What can I say ...
The code you got from marketing, is created in MS Word and will only render correct on Outlook email clients with the same Word editor version.
Kindly ask your marketing department to use this online editor when creating campaign HTML. The code you receive from this editor will render correct on all email clients and you can simply paste the code to your campaign code view.
Please copy/paste this HTML (W3C valid) in campaign code view and let me hear if rendering on Outlook 2007/Vista is now OK: (Notice the difference in size as all unnecessary Word codes are ripped)
| Code: | <a href="http://www.dmawards.co.uk/"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, Sans-Serif" color="#333399" size="2">
<b>DRS nominated for 2008 DM Awards – vote today</b></a></font><br>
<font face="Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, Sans-Serif" color="#ff6600" size="2">

<a href="http://www.dmawards.co.uk/"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, Sans-Serif" color="#333399" size="2">vote now</a></b></font><br><br>

Hi Jesper
Can you please advise on the correct way to change / createt a campaign. At present when I highlight and edit existing campaign source it will not let me change any of the code. Also I have noticed that if I create a new campaign for example, with the code you sent me I am unable to see the campaign, just the code.
Very sorry to be asking you so many questions but I really want to make sure I am using the product as it should be used and appreciate all your help an support.
I will inform our marketing department about the HTML editor to use
Thanks |

Hi Jesper
Also can you advise how to position the campaign below the signature i.e spacing etc as it either sits too close or too far away from the signature
Many thanks again |

Just worked out how to edit the code .. Just found the toggle command. My apologies, however the code always appears on a single line which makes it difficult to edit despite putting it on to several lines it reverts back.
Many thanks |

Jesper
Please can you advise on why the campaign is not spacing one line at a time but each time I press the return key it drops with a double line spacing which means the campaign is either too far away or too close to the signature.
It seems to happen on all new signatures. Am I right in thinking that you use the return key to position the completed campaign in the first place?
Thanks |
