|

I have installed v7 on win xp pro but can't get any further than the cockpit splash screen. It just showsn in the task manager as not responding.
I've had previous versions on my pc, 2 weeks ago I tried starting an older version and the same thing happened. Have since uninstalled.
Please could you tell me what you suspect could be causing this? |

I managed to succesfully install it on windows 2003 server but figuring out how do start deploying it. I tried running sign.exe on my pc (the one that won't load cockpit) but it didn't seem to have any affect.
Must read documentation. |

Here is a summery on the steps I follow when setting up for clients:
- Check than Sign.exe works from the PC with the Cockpit.
Click 'Run sign.exe' from the top left hand corner (the circle)
- Check OK in Diagnostics.
- Create your script and check for OK in Diagnostics when executed.
- Now implement your script in your live enviroment. Again check OK in Diagnostics.
- Then check if settings gets deployed to your Outlook (no need to do this if not OK in Diagnostics)
Of course these steps are only required when verifying that everything works initially. _________________ </Jesper> | Manage Email Signatures from your Desktop | Test Email Signature in All In-boxes | Email Signature Showcase |

This is solely DEP related.
Please see the manual on how to enable DEP for the Cockpit. Then it works.
Thanks,
