Whenever I generate a Rich Text signature from HTML in the Cockpit the image reference field is replaced with a another with the prefix #IMGST# and ending in #IMGEN which does not work. There is no information about this format anywhere I have looked.
Is this a bug?

e.g: #IMGST#file://server/ems/logo.jpg#IMGEN# or

#IMGST#http://www.ourcompany.com/ccm/cms-service/stream/image/?image_id=943911#IMGEN#

Images are not supported in RTF format.

Please delete #IMGST# references in RTF format.

Idea Please learn more in this FAQ; What are the different email formats? Recommendation?
