|
|
Some users have the dreaded red X in the signature where the logo should be when sending emails internally to other company users. However, after a bit, that same user can then see the logos on emails that had the red X before. The recipients of those emails still see the red X. We are using linked images. This is happening in both Outlook 2003 and 2007 for multiple users. The logo is located at http://mail.bannerwitcoff.com/logos/b&W_logo.jpg
Any ideas? |

This is strange as linked images are shown by default internally ...
I assume this is the Red X your refer to?
- Please check that BlockHTTPImages is not set to 1 (one) in those users registry:
| Code: | | \HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\[12.0]\Common\BlockHTTPImages |
Please check that they are connected to the internet when they see the Red X.
You might want to try and change the URL to your logo (e.g. http://www.bannerwitcoff.com/logos/b&W_logo.jpg) Any luck?

| So far, no luck. I have noticed that in replies, Outlook changes the img src to src=outbind.... This is a bug? Even for internal emails? |
