Keep your user contact data accurate and current in AD
The ADUpdate Manager is designed to provide an efficient means of keeping your user contact data accurate and current in your Active Directory.
This is accomplished by putting your users in charge of their own data, but in a controlled manner.

How does this work?
The Super user will use eMailSignature to specify which data fields can be updated by users and also which users will be required to make updates – you may specify that all users need to make updates or you may specify updates just for specific users.

The admin interface is very simple as illustrated by the following screen shot:

Once the Super user triggers an update of the Active Directory, user will be presented with a form such as the following for editing their data. This will appear the next time they logon to the network.
As you can see, only the fields specified by the Super user will be editable (in our example, those shown with a tan background below ).

High quality email signatures with minimal management
Because the Active Directory data will now be displayed in the user’s email signature it will be in the user’s own interest to ensure its accuracy.
So, regardless of how many users you have in your Active Directory, the ADUpdate Manager provides an easy and efficient means of ensuring that the data in your Active Directory is both accurate and current.
The result will be high quality email signatures with minimal management required by the Super user.
