We are currently converting to a new domain, however user accounts are going to be moved at different times to the new domain. We need to be able to assign signatures for users on either domain as they will be pointing to different exchange boxes.
I believe I have to set up 2 databases, one for each exchange box in each domain. I currently have 170 licenses, how do I split these licenses between the 2 domains??
How do I free up the licenses from 1 domain once the user accounts have been moved as eventually we will need all licenses on 1 domain.

Thanks for your help

Yes, you need one database for each domain.

Domain #1:
  1. Create backend database accessible for users
  2. eMailSignature console installed on PC/Server connected to domain
  3. Update your logon script accordingly so Sign.exe knows which database to use.

Domain #2:
  1. Create backend database accessible for users
  2. eMailSignature console installed on PC/Server connected to domain
  3. Update your logon script accordingly so Sign.exe knows which database to use.

Please contact info(at)brandedmails.com or your sales rep. with information on how to split your license key.

Ones a user is moved to your new domain, you can delete his license in Setup > Status Monitor (Right click and select 'Remove this user'). This removes his license from the database.

Does it answer your questions?

Yes thanks this answers my question, can I change my license distribution more than once? as when all the users are moved over to the new domain we will need the licenses all on this domain.

Thanks

Paula, have received a split license key (50/50).
If you need another split, please get back in touch when you have finished your migration.

Thanks.
