Hi,
I have some computers that connect to a mailbox in a different domain. (cockpit & SQL is set up on the dc of that domain.) Is there a way to set-up sign.exe so that is uses the credentials of the domain where the exchange server is located?
Adding a group from a different domain doesn't seem to work as well. DNS is set-up. (Conditional forwarder)
Thx for the feedback! |

Welcome to the forums Peter!
You can setup HKCU and point Sign.exe to a part of the domain.
Will this work for you? _________________ </Jesper> | Test Email Signature | Showcase | |

Thx for the reply.
The domains are not in the same forest. The sign.exe part would probably work though.
Only problem is, that I cannot add groups from the foreign domain in the cockpit. I've changed the LDAP string, however the programs reports that the root cannot be contacted.
DNS is set-up between the sites and I have entered the correct network credentials.
Has this been tested before or would it work when I set up a trust between the two forests? |

Hi Peter,
You are most likely to set up a trust between the domains. You can change the LDAP within one domain, but you will run into problems in another domain.
Maybe an easier way is to have two settings databases one for each domain, and then run seperately. We can spilt the license key if you require.
A trust would probably be the bets this. Would this work for you?
Thanks,
Bjarne |
