We need the font size to be 11, not 10 (Calibri). The registry files you sent me make it Calibri 10. I do have Calibri 11 set in the email signature software but I would like the registry setting files to match that.

Managing font size setting via HKCU is unfortunately not part of this customer service.

Please use font size setting in your Cockpit (i.e General Outlook Settings) and make sure that Sign.exe is run after the forwarded HKCU.

I was under the impression that the HKCU you sent had changed my font size. Before I ran the HKCU, my font was Calibri 11, which is how I have it set in the Cockpit. After I ran the HKCU, my font in Outlook is Calibri 10. I cannot get it to change back to 11 no matter how many times I run sign.exe. Are you saying that there are no font size settings in the HKCU you sent?

I just did more testing and the registry file you sent me is definitely changing the font size from 11 to 10. I have the size set to 11 in the cockpit but once I run that registry file, the only way to get it back to 11 is to manually change it in Outlook. Running sign.exe does not put it back to 11. So, could you please take a look at the registry files you sent me as I don't know how to read the code in them? Thanks.

I have forwarded new HKCU-registries with the correct font size.

Your Cockpit font size setting should overrule the setting in the registry when Sign.exe is executed OK in Diagnostics.

As we have only one other report that this is setting is not working, I assume this is an Outlook profile error on one or more clients.

Question Would anyone reading this post care to share their experience with font settings in Cockpit?

We will add font size logging to the log file in the next version, which will ease troubleshooting.

The new HKCU settings work. What happens if I run both of these on one PC? Will it mess up anything? I ask because you said run it in the logon script which happens when the user logs on. But the user could log on to multiple machines with different office versions. For instance, a few people have 2 PCs with 2 different office versions (2003 & 2007). Or someone may have 1 PC with Office 2003 but then they go to use the PC in the conf room which has Office 2007 and they log on to it. So I cannot figure out how to best deploy this.

There is a HKCU registry for 2003 and one for 2007.
The path is different, so executing the HKCU for 2003 for a user with 2007 have no effect.

However, if you use roaming profiles (not supported here ... Wink ) users only have to excute both HKCU registries ones.

Great, I will test running both HKCUs on PCs here. If I can just run both for everyone, it will be easy. Smile

I've been testing the HKCU entries you sent me (to change the font color) and it works fine in Office 2007 but doesn't seem to work with Office 2003. When I look at the font settings for Office 2003 it says it is set to Calibri 11 but when I compose a message, it is Calibri 12 and it is black, not the blue color specified in the registry key. So, I am wondering why this is not working in Outlook 2003.

Please only refer to the special color setting as the font and size is set by Sign.exe when it is executed after the HKCU-reg ... Nod

Check if this is a general problem on all your Outlook 2003 clients, or only one.
Check that the HKCU path exists on your Outlook 2003 clients.
Manually click on the HKCU and check that registries are set.

Yes, we still offer this service when required by clients.
Arthur from the US office will contact you and ask which font you need for default and reply/forward.

Done > Outlook 2010
Done > Compose and Reply color = 128, 128, 128 (RGP)
Missing > Font and size? (Default and Reply/Forward)

Thanks.
