I am having an issue with our OWA Module and iPhone users.
These users have the correct signature in outlook and web outlook, however their iPhones still attach the standatd "send from iPhone" to all emails.
Have I missed a step with the OWA Module configuration? Everything else works fine.
The iPhones were configured to our outlook web app before the OWA Module went live.
Any help would be great at the moment

Hi Brian,
eMailSignature does not support iPhones. We support other clients such as OWA, Outlook, Notes and BlackBerry but not iPhone. iPhone has nothing to do with OWA and sending emails from OWA.
Thanks,

Hi Brian,
The OWA module set default signature in Outlook Web Access email client – as if the user created the signature in OWA.
Signatures in OWA are not downloaded to any device. If you uses OWA today, we are not changing how it works!
This will work for your iPhone users, as they use OWA client and simply uses the iPhone as a network provider.
Your Entourage email clients on MAC OS must be handled using semi-automatic deployment.
Your Entourage users using OWA is not supported in the quote below as their details are not stored in the database.
Their details reside in Active Directory, but are not pulled into the database as they are not executing Sign.exe.
We are able to update OWA for your Entourage users, but this requires an upgrade to Enterprise Edition and SQL db as the backend.
If this is worthwhile depends on how many users uses Entourage and need their OWA updated?
Kind regards,

Sure, but this is a misunderstanding obviously. He writes that they would use the OWA client in the iPhone (and hence not the built-in email client) and in this way it works on the iPhone through the browser. I can easily see that it can be misunderstood.
We do not have a solution for the iPhone email application yet.
Thanks,
Bjarne |
