I've just upgraded to version 4.8.9
When I log on and open Outlook I have no signatures available.
When I check the Status monitor I am listed as a failed user, the reason is stated as Invalid column name 'custom_num2' |

Please explain how you upgraded and copy your log.
Did you copy and replace your existing Sign.exe?
Which version did you upgrade from?

I upgraded as per the instructions on the forum (document called emailsignature) and I did copy the new version of sign.exe
When it failed the first time I noticed that the original uninstall had not removed the c:\Program Files\Office Add-on folder so I uninstalled again. renamed the office add-on folder and then reinstalled.
The problem remained the same
Which log do I need to send you (where do I find it)
I think the previous version I had was 4.2 |

there was no user log listed in the status monitor menu and there was no option to view log file (maybe I was looking in the wrong place)
instead I selected the All Users view and then exported to a file
the contents of statusmonitor.txt are as follows

Thanks - but it does not provide any answers to your problems
If no users are registered after runing Sign.exe (with parameter to database), then use below tool to debug client.
Show me how to debug client not visible in Status Monitor. |

When upgrading from 4.2 it is very likely that there are database issues not solved. We take the discussion off forum and come back with the conclusion. _________________ </Bjarne> | Test Email Signature | Showcase | |

The problem was solved by upgrading to version 4.9.0 and do these changes in the database:
Fields [custom_num1,..,custom_num5] as int NULL and custom_str1,..,custom_str5] nvarchar 100 NULL needed to be created in table lgdaUsers.
Case closed. |
