Hi,
We are having a problem described below:
We have a picture in our E-Mail signature that we will use in OWA.
When the image in the signature is loading the following error pops up to the user:
Do you want to show only the information on this website that has been transferred in a secure way?
There is content on this webpage that has not been transfered through a secure HTTPS-connection, this can cause the whole webpage to be insecure.
I can then press Yes to not see the images or No to see the image.
Do you know if there is a way to also transfer the Image in a secure-manner through OWA-Module?
Thanks! |

Hello DrEric,
this is a typical problem with Internet Explorer. It will try to read a link which is unsecure (i.e. http) through a secure channel (https) and then IE will always ask for permission to do this. This is by default in IE and has nothing to do with emailsignature. But if you link to a http image when composing an email in https then you will see this bevahior.
A solution is to put the logo in the same secure area as OWA and make the image available to the public through the https port. There is really no other solution to avoid this message. _________________ with kind regards / Mit freundlichen Grüßen
