|
|
Hi
We are currently trying to deploy images within the email signature and after a few issues within outlook 2007 seem to have this working however this is not working for OWA.
We are using embeded images and the image is showing a just a Red X. The user defined to run the signowa.exe has the correct permissions to access the folder that the image resides on.
The Status monitor shows the same Red X as the email when the last generated signature is viewed, however this works within outlook.
Any idea's? Log file below if this is any help.
Setting signature for user: THANCOCK
Mailbox name: Terry.Hancock
Sending HTTP request to: https://mercury.m2digital.co.uk/exchange/Terry.Hancock/
Returned response from server: <?xml version="1.0"?><a:multistatus xmlns:b="http
://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/" xmlns:a="DAV:"><a:response><a:href>https://m
ercury.m2digital.co.uk/exchange/Terry.Hancock</a:href><a:propstat><a:status>HTTP
/1.1 200 OK</a:status><a:prop><b:signaturehtml/><b:signaturetext/><b:autoaddsign
ature/></a:prop></a:propstat></a:response></a:multistatus>
HTTP/1.1 200 OK |

I believe owa, unlike outlook, only supports text signatures. _________________ RobD |

OWA does not support embedded images, so you need to define your default signature with linked image and I recommend that you also generate a Text version of your HTML.
signOWA.exe will then deploy both your default HTML and TXT.

Both HTML and TXT signatures can be deployed. But not RTF. _________________ </Jesper> | Test Email Signature | Showcase

We currently have all three signature HTML, RTF and Txt signatures.
however the owa signature seems to be only HTML and the IS director would prefer Embeded images.
Is there any way we could force OWA to use TXT format? |

You can only force OWA to use TXT format if you only use TXT format in Outlook.
Here you find users HTML/TXT OWA signatures:
Help -> Diagnostics, right click user and select 'Last generated signature for this user'. _________________ </Jesper> | Test Email Signature | Showcase
