I run a terminal server and permissions seemed to be stopping the email signature from path c:\documents and settings\userID\application data\microsoft\emailsignature etc etc. We have a restricted environment, is there any other way around this issue. Thanks Tony. _________________ Regards

Hi Tony,
This is the path where Outlook look for email signatures by Microsoft design.
Windows XP:
| Code: | | C:\Documents and Settings\%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures |
Are your TS users able to create email signatures from their Outlook? _________________ </Jesper> | Test Email Signature | Showcase | |

I have two terminal servers that work fine and two that don't. They appear to be the same in setup.
I am getting error
-------------- eMailSignature END LOG file -----------------
- Finalised at 15-4-2009 9:07:09
------------------------------------------------------------
Status: 6500: C:\Documents and Settings\sbraphez\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures\eMailSignature Demo.txt, 429, ActiveX component can't create object
vCard Manager is not licensed.
Do you have any ideas where i can start looking? _________________ Regards

429 errors are very rare. Which version of sign.exe do you run? You probably need to reinstall MDAC, if you don't have the latest version.
Another thing: Please delete the rtf version of the signature if you have one and run sign.exe again.
Thanks
Bjarne

I am using the latest version, I installed the MDAC component checker and all seemed OK, all four terminal servers are clones of each other, the MDAC is the lastest version on Windows 2003 server. The only last option I have is to clone the servers that are working and create new ones. Luckily I use VMWare so should be straight forward. Do you think that this is the only option?
Sorry I am using the latest version 5.5.0, I am a new customer. I am only just setting it up in silent mode, so just using the standard demo signature _________________ Regards

I re-cloned the servers last night and all is now working, must have been an MDAC problem, but really don't know why. I did run MDAC Component checker etc. _________________ Regards
