The "Read Only" feature in the Cockpit of emailsignature v5.0.0 (which I'm trialling for my company), does not seem to work - . Users are still able to amend the signature after deployment.
Also the signature (defined in a table of 1*1) seems to be selectable by the user; the table handles appear if you hover over the template and therefore the whole template can be moved around. I'll be grateful for any suggestions on why this might be happening and how to resolve. _________________ RobD |

Users can edit the signature when used (imported) in Outlook. This is by Microsoft Outlook design. But you should see the 'Edit' and 'Remove' buttons removed in Outlook as described in below FAQ. This is not 100%, but one step towards strict control.
Learn more about the Read Only feature in this FAQ.
For strict control, try using 'Delete all existing signatures ...' and users will only have signatures available from your settings DB. _________________ </Jesper> | Test Email Signature | Showcase | |
