Hi

Does anybody know if there is any way I can remove all existing signatures out of Outlook XP (pre eMailSig) and then remove the option for users to get into tools>options and add/amend new signatures? running Outlook XP and 2003 in a citrix enviroment.

Thanks
Sarah

Open Cockpit -> Actions -> General Outlook Settings, Compose font and misc.

Idea Then select 'Delete all existing signatures before generating new ones'.

Now run Sign.exe during logon, and all user created signatures are deleted on a daily basis. And only signatures from your settings DB can be used.
With this setting, there is normally no need to disable buttons, but if you prefer, you can also select 'Make all signatures read-only so they cannot be changed by the user'

Thanks. I tried that but the signatures that are already in the user's outlook profile remain there. The example signatures for eMailSig are also still in the users profiles.

Then it's because you did not ran Sign.exe during users logon.

Please post user log for troubleshooting (Help -> Diagnostics, right click user and select Log File).

Please post the line you execute during users logon.
