When editing the signatures in the cockpit 4.8.1 (sign v4.8.1), I notice that there is the option to control the reply font, but not the reply font colour. This deviates from the Microsoft standard which sets the reply colour to Blue. Is there some way we can manipulate this in the signature software?

Secondly, the signature software resets the plain text font to 10pt Courier New. Our users prefer to change this to another font, but this is continuously reset at next run of the signature software. Is there anyway to toggle this option off?

I assume not in the current version, but please would you let me know if you will consider this for an enhancement and when it is likely to be delivered as this is quite urgent. If not, we have to regularly disable the signature software and thus signatures are not dynamically updated. Clearly this is not ideal.

Hi,

Your first query, there is no option for this currently, if we get enough feature requests for it, the Technical team will write this into the next release.

Your second query is due to an issue we had with 4.8.1, the latest version, 4.8.5 should correct this. Please visit the downloads section of this website and download this, you will need to uninstall 4.8.1 first, but can still link it to your same settings database so you will not lose your data.

If this does not solve it, then again please add it as a feature request in that section.

I hope this helps, please keep up to date with this site as you may find your queries already answered by other users!

Thanks

I've now upgraded to v4.9.0 and the Plain Text font is still being reset to Courier at sign.exe runtime. Can you let me know what we can do about this? Surely the sign.exe can ignore this font field or allow us to manipulate it in the cockpit so that it can be standardised for all staff?
Many thanks.

Please have a look at this article: http://www.emailsignature.eu/phpBB2/outlook-settings-font-colour-t275.html

This will enable a workaround of the colors.

Re courier in plain text, there is no way to control each of the different font style for the mail formats and plain text will always be reset.

We haven't seen many requests to control that, so unfortunately it is not on our top priority list in future development.

Hope this helps.
