Most of our secretaries have the ability to Send As the attorneys they work for. With this ability the secretary can send out an e-mail and the message is sent as if came from the attorney.
That right is assigned in AD. Once that right is given, they can activate a FROM field in Outlook, enter the name of the attorney and generate the message as if it came from the attorney.
The problem is, that the signature is the secretary's and not the attorney's. Is there a way to make that work?
Could the signature be designed to pull the AD information from the account in the From field.
For example, by default the From field would be the secretary and the signature would reflect that. If she entered her attorney's name in the From field, the signature would override the default and populate the signtaure fields with the name of the attorney.
This would be similar to how the preview mode works. If I enter a different Run As field the preview signature changes to that person. |

Hi Eric,
Basically, what you are asking for is the Legal Edition of eMailSignature.
I will contact you off the forum with more detail information and a possible WORKAROUND using the Standard version.
