|
|
Hello,
I rolled this program out about 3 weeks ago, and I'm using embedded images in our signatures (web images by default are blocked by Outlook, so they are almost pointless to use), except they were not sending, and was able to search out a solution to the problem on the forums here.
The solution involves changing a reg key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\1*.0\Outlook\Options\Mail\] "Send Pictures with Document" to 1.
Yet another problem is, sign.exe resets it every time on login. So, easy enough you would think, add the reg key to the login script. Well sign.exe runs for some time, so a delay is necessary. The problem is, the delay needed can vary greatly per PC. I currently have it at 10 seconds, and almost half of the 35 clients using it still don't get it updated correctly (it varies day to day for some of them)
Some of the other posts mentioned that there was a beta version of sign.exe that corrected this, and some people were being sent it as a fix. If I could ge that version it would be most helpful.
My version of sign.exe is 5.0.0.0
Thanks for your help. |

Please upgrade to v.5.5. Beta here and replace Cockpit.exe and Sign.exe.
In Manage Embedded Images, now select Check only this box if you have outlook 2007 users.
OK now? _________________ </Jesper> | Test Email Signature | Showcase | |
