windows xp pc is coming up with the following error when the sign.exe is run

Is the LDAP string in your log OK? (I cannot see it as you did not post the full log)

If OK, it's properly corrupt MDAC on your PC.

You can verify by logging on to another PC and execute Sign.exe (+ the parameter to the settings DB).

sign is running on other pc's
