We have about 65 users that are receiving a signature. Most of those users have to go to options to change the signature from none to the signature we have pushed. Also some of them have to change the option again the next day whether they have logged off, restarted or shutdown.

This did not occur while we were testing, however it has started now on the test account.

This is occurring for users with Windows XP, none of which is using Citrix. All of the users had previous signatures before the deployment of eMailSignature.

Sign.exe is looking for users default and reply/forward signatures in the settings DB referred to in your script. The default and reply/forward signatures are set in Actions menu.

Please check settings For All, Groups and Individual users.

If you only use one template 'For All' 65 users, then tick 'When this option is checked, these signature settings will always overrule any group settings'.

Idea Verify your settings in Tools menu -> Signature deployment report.

Question Still a problem?

Then check that your script is using the same settings DB as your Cockpit (File menu -> Settings Database).

OK - I think the issue is resolved, as it is now working on the test account. I will be checking with the users throughout the day.

When I checked the settings for groups, the default signature for one of groups was not set. I am not sure how this was missed previously.

Thank you for your help.
