Hi,

I bought 13 licences yesterday and successfully deployed to the 6 users who were in the office / connected then. Ours is a fairly simple set up one DC running SBS2003 with Active Directory used as the eMail Signature database.

Today there is a new user in (who normally connects remotely over VPN) and his machine will not pick up the signatures and displays this error message.

Also there is one user who has his signature correctly deployed (works on two different PCs) but he is not shown in the Status Monitor (and hence licences I guess)?

Any ideas?

Regards

Simon

The Red X indicates that user cannot access your settings.mdb during logon.

Try change to UNC path to database.

Use this debug tool.

If a user does not show in status monitor there are to reasons:
1) Did not execute Sign.exe
2) Do not have Write permission to the netshare where the settings DB is located.

Or maybe MDAC component is corrupt on that PC. Check by having same users log on from another PC ...

I tried the easy one first "Do not have Write permission to the netshare where the settings DB is located" and that worked.

Thanks and regards
