I just upgraded SignOWA to v7.3 this morning and now only some of my users are getting their signatures created.

I get the following:
C:\Program Files\eMailSignature>SignOWA.exe -v
SignOWA, Version=7.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=56390b2257d4df72
11/2/2009 12:14:00 PM

Using the url: https://mail.bcitllc.com/
Setting signature for user: MSMITH
Mailbox name: msmith@BCITLLC.com
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
-----------------------------------
Setting signature for user: WANDERSON
Mailbox name: WAnderson@bcitllc.com
The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.
-----------------------------------

This was all working with v7.0 so I know I have WebDAV configured correctly.

If WebDAV is enabled, the URL may be wrong. Please review your OWA URL settings:
  1. Open Cockpit > Modules tab and click Configuration button for Outlook Web Access. The Basic Configuration window appears.
  2. Enter the URL of your Exchange OWA server in the OWA URL field. Leave out HTTP and HTTPS before the URL.
If you are using Exchange 2003, append “exchange” to the URL as in the following example: “myserver.mydomain.local/exchange/”.
If you are using Exchange 2007, do not append anything as in the following example: “myserver.mydomain.local”. (E.g. do NOT add /owa or /exchange)
  3. Click Save to keep the updated settings.

Does this fix the error?

I know that the config in Cockpit > Modules is correct because it does work for SOME of the accounts, just not all of them.

Could you please try and logon as user WANDERSON and create a signature manually just to make sure that his OWA is working as intended.

Then try and run SignOWA.exe again.

Next step is to reverse back to the 'old' SignOWA.exe to see if it still works OK.

WANDERSON is able to log on to OWA and has an Outdated Generated Signature from eMailSignature.

I tried running the old version of SignOWA.exe and it gives the same results.

The difference now is that I am running SQL server instead of MS Access.

Please validate that your SQL database is OK;

Cockpit > Diagnostics, Check Settings Database Consistency

All tables OK?

Hi,

I am getting the same error - for some users it works ok, for some I get the 404 error.

Whats the correct configuration regarding WebDav, I have looked in the notes but cannot find the right section.

DCC is fine

This is definately a permission problem. Please ensure that you have the right mailbox permissions according to the manual.

Are you sure you haven't changed anything else but the database? When you revert to the old signowa, it doesn't work either..

Thanks,.
