I have some questions about Esig:
1. Can you use esig over multiple active directory domains?
2. Can you use esig with outlook rpc over http(s)?
3. How can I use Esig with Lotus Notes AND Outlook together?
Hope someone knows the answer... |

Do I only have to give up the second database filepath for lotus notes? And should I not fill the field "logged on to" ?
For the outlook RPC over http, the user must connect one time with outlook in the domain??
FOr the multiple domains, do I need on every domain a cockpit? Or can i just use 1 cockpit and 1 settings database? |

Yes, the file path is only for Lotus Notes or other email clients that can pick email signatures from a location you specify.

Yes, the user must be logged on to the domain ones.

The Cockpit is only required when you need to change the settings DB.
For multiple domain administration if might be more convenient to have only one Cockpit and simply connect the Cockpit to the settings DB you need to change or monitor.
Or you can have e.g. 3 PC's with 3 Cockpit's preconfigured - whatever you prefer ... _________________ </Jesper> | Test Email Signature | Showcase

OK, but does the cockpit recognize the different domains? Or only the settings.mdb
With other words, can I use for example the status monitor in the cockpit for multiple domains? Or is that also a part of the settings.mdb.
I have nothing to do with the data sources in the cockpit for different domains? |

Everything you see in the Cockpit comes from the settings DB.
The Status Monitor is also part of the settings DB (Lgdausers Table).
For multiple domains you will have to connect the Cockpit to each domains settings DB to see that domains Status Monitor.
Makes sense? _________________ </Jesper> | Test Email Signature | Showcase

Yes, it makes sense now.
I will try if I can make this to work.
Thank you for your answers! |
