Manage Email Signatures Centrally - For All Users

For large number of users the signature generation process and registration in Cockpit can fail or take a serious amount of time. The use'n'feel of the Cockpi can get extremely slowly as well. The reason is a way of reading data that gets cached on each client. sign.exe will try to pull down the whole directory locally leaving no bandwith for anyting else and it can close down a whole office.

This only applies to SQL Server installations, well over 3000 users and with locations on thin lines.

It is very hard to locate the errors due to lack of testing facilities. If you experience this problem, please reply to this post or contact us directly.
However no customers will experience this unless they are deploying in large scale under the above conditions.

Another customer confirms that performance issues in Cockpit seems to have been fixed based on the beta sent out to selected customers.

Even more performance issues have been addressed with version 4.8.0. There are not any known performance issues now.

Sign.exe has also been updated, so please update to the latest version.
