|
|
MS SQL settings DB
Client uses eMailSignature_Standard user from Cockpit.
Licenses are exceeded, but cannot release licenses or delete manually.
Resolution
Change user from eMailSignature_Standarduser til eMailSignature_Superuser.
Error message when user with limited permissions are used to ease troubleshooting. _________________ </Jesper> | Manage Email Signatures from your Desktop | Test Email Signature in All In-boxes | Email Signature Showcase |

By design, a standard user is not allowed to free up licenses. This behaviour is as expected.
Only super users can release licenses. |

| If you are logged on as a standard user you cannot free up licenses and an error message is showed. |

Maybe my post was unclear ... the problem is that there is no error message when standard user is used - nothing ... then support starts ... and this takes for ever to troubleshoot ... _________________ </Jesper> | Manage Email Signatures from your Desktop | Test Email Signature in All In-boxes | Email Signature Showcase |

| If a standard user is opening the Cockpit, the license release button is grayed out and it is not possible to release licenses. A tip text is describing what to do next. |
