Hi,

We have created a new campaign, but when selecting a group for this to apply to by using the "group settings" button the following error message is displayed:

"Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'id', table 'eMailsignature_New.dbo.lgdaCampaignGroups'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails."

What is the reason for this?

Thanks

Tom

Please let me know:
  1. SQL Server version?
  2. Did you follow these instructions?
  3. Did you upgrade recently?

Then Post Status Monitor log file ...

Hi Jesper,

1. We are using SQL Server 2005
2. What specific instructions do you refer to? We have had the eMailSignature signature installed for quite a while now, and the campaign module has worked in the past. If I recall correctly, we setup a campaign after the DB was moved from 2000 to 2005 and that worked all ok.
3. We have upgraded to version 5.0.0 in the last month, so this may be the problem? The procedure was performed as per the instructions.

Regards,

Tom

Based on the error you have, something is wrong with your settings DB.

Using SQL 2005 settings DB, it's very simple to create a new settings DB - just execute this script.

If you use this script, you will not get the above error - please try? Cool
