We have ticked the option to prevent users from amending the signature but this doesn't appear to work.
Any suggestions?
thanks
regards

Your are right!
By Microsoft design, users have full control of their Outlook.
Thus, they can edit the signatures shown in Outlook.
Unfortunately, we cannot change that - what we did with the feature 'Prevent users from modifying the signatures' was disabling the buttons 'Edit' and 'Remove':
This is a small step in the right direction - at least this was our intension |

Sure - Open Cockpit, Outlook settings menu and then remove read-only ... the next time users run Sign.exe they can edit their signatures.

Are the signature files read-only after running Sign.exe?
Check Status Monitor that the user actually ran Sign.exe ... please let me know? |

Hello Jesper.
Sign ran on the client. What my conclusion is now that i can not remove an old signature that i designed earlier (testing email signature). I can delete the new imported signatures but the old ones i can not delete. Do you understand me ?! I can make a screenshot to help you if you like. |

Think I understand now ...
You deployed a signature which is no longer used in the Cockpit and find that the signature file is still present on the client?
This feature is requested by many wanting to delete user created signatures, and will be available in version 5 released next week (not default, but as an option).
So keep an eye on the Download Forum using RSS or the email notification service.
Correct understood? |

This feature is in beta in version 5 and will be controlled from within the cockpit.
Thanks for your valuable contribution.
