|
|
| I've installed the business card module. A vcard was placed at my website, but it appears to be empty. Also, can I get the code to link the vcard in the signature. Code I found on this website doesn't link it correctly. thanks. Susan |

Is AD your data source? Is it possible for you to post a link to the .vcf file?
Here is the link code you can use ...
| Code: | | <a href="http://www.company.com/images/your.vcf"><font size="2" face="Verdana, sans-serif" color="000000">Text to be displayed</font></a> |
Thanks. |

Received your settings.mdb.
You need to upgrade to Sign.exe v.4.9.2 to make it work. Use direct link in text.
There are field errors in McCarter Signature which are described when trying to preview signature in Cockpit:
| Code: | | ((((First_name))First_name))(((First_name))(First_name)) |
Changed your code and preview is now working.
Then I test FTP connection and deploy users from your database:
| Code: | Connection successfully established!
ADMINISTRATOR 15-11-2007 14:12:56
MUGHAL 15-11-2007 14:12:56
SGRUBIAK 15-11-2007 14:12:56
-------------------------------------------
3 users transferred. |
One user (i.e. Administrator) is present in my AD and is OK with content in VCF-file.

| Using %username%.vcf in the link to the vcard directs you to %25username25%.vcf. I've verified that directly going to www.mccarter.com/vcard/sgrubiak.vcf opens the vcard. I don't see a field choice for the AD attribute. Does something need to be run with sign to get this to work? (The vcard properly generates with username to the web site). Thanks. Susan |

I don't understand. Does the link put in %25.. instead of just the username? Can you send a full link to this vcf card where it doesn't write the correct name?
Thanks. |

| the instructions say to use %username%.vcf in the link. However, clicking on the link does not translate to username.vcf, but rather %25username%.vcf. I'll send you an email now and click the link to the vcard. |

| The problem is identified as a bug in version 4.9.2. There will soon be a revision release where this is fixed. |
