Hello!

Now the PhoneBook shows our users with userid (mnan) not with name.

Can I specify which AD field the phone book should sort (to display name)?

Regards Malin

Don't understand why it would change ... Surprised

The PhoneBook Tool shows Distinguished name like in my log file below.
Please check your log file in Diagnostics (right click user) - or check user proporties in your AD (General pane, DN is right to the icon).

My log file wrote:
User: jf (CN=jesper frier,CN=Users,DC=Officeadd-onLtd,DC=local)
29-01-2009 13:49:59 License Key valid for version. 5
Distinguished name set to CN=jesper frier,CN=Users,DC=Officeadd-onLtd,DC=local

My log file look like this:

User: mnan (CN=mnan,OU=Anvandare,OU=Konton,.....)
2009-01-28 09:30:18 License Key valid for version. 5
Distinguished name set to CN=mnan,OU=Anvandare,OU=Konton,DC....

In AD I have
User logon name: mnan
First Name: Malin Lastname: Andersson
Display name: Andersson, Malin

It seems that the Phoonebok use the field User logon name.
Is it possible to change the value to display name in any file or in regedit??

Malin

How did you reach that conclusion ... Surprised
If you look at my example, you will see my logon name is 'jf' and this is not used in PhoneBook.

PhoneBook Tool uses your DN as intended - you only happen to have the same logon name:

I am not sure if it's possible to change DN and unfortunately it's beyond the support we offer for eMailSignature.
