Someone renames AD group, but no error message appear in Status Monitor.
So the Cockpit administrator must have a warning and a quick way to update Cockpit.
You cannot import the renamed group as you get a warning that it's already there ... so maybe it's possible to introduce a UPDATE button instead which would ease the present procedure?
The present procedure is:
1) Delete group
2) Import renamed group
3) Select group as active
4) Choose signatures
My suggestion initiated by a Status Monitor error ...
1) Update imported groups

| This has been built into the new version: A groups validation will check if the group still exists in AD, and then give the possibility totake appropriate actions. |

The group check has been extensively improved.
It is now easy to get information about renamed groups, gorups that have been deleted and extra group information to make it easier to debug. |
