|
|
I upgraded successfully from v5.5 to 7.0.2. When I run Check Settings Database Consistency, I get the following error:
"Cheking table lgdaUsers - No value given for one or more required parameters."
I also had this error a couple of years ago and you told me to do the following which I did:
"Please create a col in the table lgdaUsers called vcf and of type ntext."
So, I looked in the lgdaUsers table this time but I already have that column. What do I do now to fix the error? |

I just upgraded from 7.0.2 to 7.0.4 and looks like it fixed the database problem:
Checking database consistency.
Database: Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=C:\Program Files\eMailSignature\settings.mdb
---------------------------------------
If any 'invalid column names' are reported here, you will need to create that column in
the table. The reason for the column to missing is that the database has not been upgraded
to match this version of eMailSignature. Please consult www.emailsignature.eu
Documentation section for data types by viewing the SQL create script.
Cheking table campaign - OK
Cheking table categories - OK
Cheking table disclaimer - OK
Cheking table general - OK
Cheking table License - OK
Cheking table livemessage - OK
Cheking table lgdaCampaignGroups - OK
Cheking table lgdaDefault - OK
Cheking table lgdaGroups - OK
Cheking table lgdaNoUsers - OK
Cheking table lgdaUsers - OK
Cheking table licenseGroups - OK
Cheking table OWA - OK
Cheking table pictures - OK
Cheking table Preview - OK
Cheking table rootcontext - OK
Cheking table settings - OK
Cheking table stationery - OK
Cheking table lgdaCollect - OK
Cheking table lgdaOWA - OK
Cheking table settingsLegal - OK
Cheking table users - OK
--------------------------------
Database check completed. |

You should use Cockpit.exe and Sign.exe version 7.0.4 which is the latest version. Or wait a few days as we will soon release version 7.1.0 which supports Outlook 2010 Beta (you will be notified by email as a registered user on these forums). |
I just upgraded from 7.0.4 to 7.3 and when I run the database consistency checker, I get the error again:
Checking table lgdaUsers - No value given for one or more rquired parameters. So I guess I will zip and send the mdb to you. |

A database checked OK in version 7.0.4 consistency checker is also OK in version 7.3.0 consistency checker.
Please check that your Cockpit is connected to the upgraded database, and try again - or follow instructions here: How to upgrade.
