Hi,
For some time a go we upgraded Cockpit to version 7.0.4 and changed licens. It worked out fine. But now we get a lot of errors in Cockpit saying: "1. You need a new key for eMailsignature version 5" and our users cant get the signature?
Do anyone have any idea what to do? _________________ Venlig hilsen

You cannot just upgrade from version 5 to 7 as the old database must be upgraded. It takes only a couple of minutes, but nothing will work before you complete the upgrade outlined in this video.
I will forward your version 7 license key by email.
Enjoy! |
Hi Jesper
I have already added some tables in our SQL base.!
But I am wondering why some of our users get a version 5.0 error and others work fine. All of them runs the sign.exe from the same domain controller.
Best regrads,

You forgot to upgrade Sign.exe where users execute it during logon.
Typically Sign.exe is executed in the NETLOGON share.
When you see users executing Sign.exe version 7.0.4 in your status monitor you are done!
Also, did your verify that your database is updated OK (in Diagnostics tab as shown in the video)? _________________ </Jesper> | Manage Email Signatures from your Desktop | Test Email Signature in All In-boxes | Email Signature Showcase |

I found the error for some reasons I have replaced version 7.0 sign.exe with the old version 5.0.. Ups! _________________ Venlig hilsen
