Why are not all AD Groups and lists visible from Cockpit?

The typical reason for the problem is that the groups you are looking for reside on another server and for some reason cannot be seen elsewhere.

To fix this, please identify either the Global Catalog or a specific LDAP string to point directly to the DC where the groups and lists are. The Global Catalog should contain all groups.

Then write the GC or LDAP string (please ask the network administrator for this information) in the text box:

Now the groups will be read from this location and you are able to see other groups, additional groups or similar.
