Is eMailSignature compatible with Win 7?
I installed Windows 7 on my laptop as test before deploying it across the company. I found out that my outlook 2007 doesn’t pick up the signature.
We have deployed the signature on our logon scripts. It works fine with XP without any issues.
The script entry is as follows
\\Mkuk-dc1fs-03\Data\Allinfo\sign.exe Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=\\Mkuk-dc1fs-03\Data\allinfo\settings.mdb
(\\servernane\location\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx=\\servername\location of the DB)
Can you let me know whether you have newer sign.exe to support windows 7 |

Outlook on Windows 7 is supported.
I expect the problem is that you have no Outlook profile created. Thus, Sign.exe is not able to deploy the signature files as the folders does not exist.
The simple workaround is to manually create a dummy signature within Outlook, and then run Sign.exe again.
Else, please post log file for further assistance. _________________ </Jesper> | Test Email Signature | Showcase | |
